  • Hello,

Regarding number 2, have you tried via PowerShell (SharePoint Management Shell): Enable-SPFeature -Identity pwasite -URL <ProjectSiteCollection>

  • Thanks a lot Paul, that did the trick and now I can see the PWA Settings on the gear icon.

Regarding the first error, at some point this week users lost access to PWA so the SharePoint Admin changed from Claims Authentication to Classic Authentication.

Is it safe to maintain that mode or should we swith back to Claims? Right now it's possible to clean up duplicated users.

  • Classic Authentication works but is not recommend.   You will lose some SharePoint functionality if web application is using class authentication, but then that becomes a SharePoint issue.

Without going into all the details of your migration, it sounds like you did a AD sync and created new resources records. This may be a problem because the resources may not be linked back to the project assignments.
