    Hello is there  a way to globally change the way a number is displayed within Skype for Business. I.E I have an external number that calls staff, instead of displaying 555-555-5555 on screen I would like it to display "Visitor Registration". I was able to achieve this by creating a Outlook contact (Local to my account) and assigning it the external phone number. However if I try to create a global Outlook Client in the Global Address List S4B client still displays the phone number instead of Contact name. 

    Anyone have any tips for making this work on a global level? At this point I am just looking to manipulate what is displayed in the S4B client not necessarily worried about the Polycom desk phones. I have attached a picture below what what I see when I crate a local Outlook contact.

    Hi Kevin,

    Create a contact object in AD, setting the Display Name as "Visitor Registration", and the telephone number in E.164 format (e.g. in the UK, +44xxx).

    Reverse Number Lookup will come into play, and SfB Server will show the Display Name instead of the telephone number.

    Agree with Steve.

    After you created the contact object in AD, please run the command in SFB management shell to update address book: Update-CsAddressBook
