Configure SCOM to monitor the size of a database

Question

hi,
how can I configure scom to monitor the initial size of databases that are monitored by scom? I need to configure scom to alert when the databases have 10 GB free space.

Hi,
Please read page 88 "DB Total Space" - if you can use this, please find the Monitor in the console, Authoring, search for "db total space" and enable the monitor.

Hi,
I would suggest you read the SQLServerMPGuide.doc and import the SQL management pack

hi,
I have already imported the MP. I just wonder how I can create a rule for monitoring the size of databases that are monitored by scom. I need to configure scom to alert when the sizse of a database is lower than 10 GB and send notification to me.
