PASUploads directory blank RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I installed ProClarity Analytics Server 6.3.129.200 cleanly. Everything seems fine except when I try to check for downloads for the Professional version, no updates are available. I checked the PASUploads directory and the only file that exists is "Uploads.txt". Are there other installation that need to be completed to get the downloadable components for Professional?

    Thanks.

    Hi Paul,

If you selected to have the web professional published as a component during the installation, you should see it in the Components section of the Analytics Server in the Analytics Server Admin Tool, but you may need to make it a required download for Professional users by setting that option in the component's properties.  Also, it is necessary to grant each user access to the professional client in their respective User properties in the Admin Tool.  If the web professional is not already a published component, it will be necessary to create a new Component (right click the Component folder in the admin tool), browse to the web professional component file on the PAS installation package, which should be something like \Install\WebProfessional\, and the file is called WebProfessional.xml.  This process will create the web pro component, at which point you can follow the earlier steps to grant access to it.

    Hope this helps,
