No, I do not believe there is any automatic way to merge two resources into one.  To do this manually, I would recommend you first select the two resources in the Resource Center page in PWA and then click the Resource Assignments button.  On the Resource Assignments page, click the Export to Excel button to capture the list of projects and tasks to which the resources are assigned.  Based on which of the resources has the fewest assignments, the PMs of those projects can use the Build Team dialog to replace the one resource with the other.  I realize this is a very manual method, but I'm not aware of any way around this.  Hope this helps.

  • I decided to just delete them and recreate them as one.

That would work fine, as long as these two resources are not assigned to any tasks in any projects.  Hope this helps.

  • In Resource Usage view.   Select all tasks under one resource and drag to the other resource.   Then delete the resource with no tasks.

Yes, your solution would work fine in an enterprise project, but this is not what the user is asking.  The user is asking how to merge two enterprise resources in Project Server 2010 into a single resource.  But thanks for trying!
