Enviroment: Windows Server 2016 running Ops Manager 2016; Some SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2015
On my 2012 and 2014 (not yet on 2016) i'm getting all the Time "Discovery Failed" messages cointaining:
Event ID: 7103. Management Group: xxxx. Script: DiscoverSQL2012DB.vbs.
Version: 6.7.7.0. Instance: P65 : SQL Database discovery script
'DiscoverSQL2012DB.vbs' for instance 'P65' failed.The next errors
occured:Cannot connect to the target Sql Server instance. Connection
log:Connection to data source 'lpc:xxx\P65' failed: [Microsoft][SQL
Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user
'xxx\XXX.Connection to data source 'xxxx,1433' failed:
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user
'xxx\XXX'.
A runas windows account for xxx\xxx is created and configured within the needed profiles. Also this user has sysadmin rights on any sql-server and also is SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode activted.
I dont get, that issue solved and cannot explain me the "login failed"...maybe some hints to go far on this?
