Link a Project task to Planner RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi can someone clarify if this feature from this article https://support.office.com/en-us/article/what-s-new-in-project-2016-111bcaf9-bc27-4c15-80e6-85e726307520?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US#Audience=Office_365_subscribers for the August 2017 update is available to everyone using Project Pro Desktop. We have the latest build as there are no new updates when check but still not able to see the button to Link Microsoft Project task to Microsoft Planner. Is there a requirement for this to appear or be available? thanks!

  • Hi,

This update is available to subscription licences of Project - so if you buy your Project as part of an O365 subscription then it should be available to you - though it does depend on which channel you are using.
