Emails "stuck" in outbox RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I cancel or delete a message in outlook 2007. When I attempt to double click on the message in the outbox I get a message that Outlook has already begum to transmit this mesage. This transmission hs been going on for 28 hours now.

    Thanks,

  • Is it happening with all the Emails? What is the status in OWA?
How many users are affected with it?

There could be something wrong with mailbox it self.

  • What is OWA? I am not a true "Geek" :) The size of the pdf document is 66 MB and it is stuck in my outbox. I just want to delete it and start over!

  • What is ExBPA? My :Geek: antennas are not working! :) The size of the pdf document is 66 MB, if that matters! How do I delete it and make it a smaller item to transmit?

  • OWA is nothing but outlook web access. Its like accesing your email through web browser.

To resolve your issue Please follow the article at http://blogs.office.com/b/microsoft-outlook/archive/2008/05/01/help-i-tried-to-send-a-giant-attachment-and-it-s-stuck-in-the-outbox.aspx

  • Compact the pdf file, using winzip/winrar/built in function in windows to a zip/rar file and mail it again

    Hopefully it will go through
