Network adapter fails to connect to wireless Internet; often occurs 20~40 mins after startup of laptop RRS feed

  • I'm having this issue where after I start up my laptop, I am unable to connect to the Internet.

    This has happened sometime in the past (September) and fixed itself at some point, but in the last week has become a severe problem and I cannot use the wireless connection for more than 40 minutes at most after startup.

    This is a relatively new Asus K550 laptop running with some great specs (i7 with Nvidia GT840).
