FQL for SharePoint 2013 help RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a .net application that searches a SP 2010 site for content and it uses FQL. It works fine. Part of the SP Site is being moved to 2013 and it will use the 2013 search, but the code running the FQL query will still use the SP 2010 assemblies. In general, the queries work, with some minor changes, but I'm running into a few stumbling blocks.

The 2010 query contained a filter for the path and(path:starts-with("https://...

It was used because I only wanted results from a specific site collection.

It looks like in 2013, path has 'Complete Matching' checked so you can only query with an exact match. I tried creating a new managed property PathNotCompleteMatch, which is the same as path but with Complete Matching unchecked. it doesn't seem to work. If I use an exact path match, it works. If I try to use starts-with or PathNotCompleteMatch:string("http://mysite/*") it doesn't work. As far as I can tell, it's exactly the same as path. Any suggestions as to how I can filter by path using a wildcard?
