AD Replication Monitoring : encountered a permissions error. RRS feed

  • Question

  • AD Replication Monitoring : encountered a permissions error.
The script failed to create the OpsMgrLatencyMonitors container in the naming context 'DC=ForestDnsZones' because access was denied. Alter the permissions for this naming context so that the script can add this container, or change the parameters for this script to stop monitoring this naming context.

Does anyone know how to change the parameters for this script to stop monitoring this naming context

    Cheers

  • you can disable the rule, hack into the script and use ur own script version to create your own rule without writing to the forestdnszones.

easier would be just to fix the access denied error ofcourse. loads of blogs containing the solution for this around...

  • Should have clarified this way better. We are in a child domain and the forest root is currently in a freeze (no changes allowed). I was hoping I could I just override something to be honest.

The reason im not just suppressing it is because im also getting the 'AD Site Performance Health Degraded' once per minute and im thinking its this monitor thats causing it as AD has NO other health issues that I can find

    Cheers
