MDT build 8443 TS log is not verbose RRS feed

  • Question

  • I thought the new build is supposed to have more understandable log file for TS but I don't see any difference from previous version MDT 2013 update 1 that I was using before.

    any Idea/

    thanks

  • It would be if you used the /debug flag with litetouch.vbs.

  • Hello You mean I should have used /debug during deployment? Could you explain how? Thanks

  • if you are running litetouch.vbs you can append /debug to the commandline e. g. cscript litetouch.vbs /debug.

Or if you are booting from media you would modify the "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Deployment Toolkit\Templates\Unattend _PE_x64.xml" (and or the x86 one too if you are using it).

    <Path>wscript.exe X:\Deploy\Scripts\LiteTouch.wsf /debug</Path>

  • Have you looked at the Forum FAQ regarding logs?  If you are talking about the SMSTS.log then this is what you get.
