Word 2010 - Add date to UserForm field RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a useform that loads on startup via the AutoNew macro. One of the fields I would like to put in the days date in dd/mm/yyyy format when the form loads. I was trying to use now() but for some reason that does not seem to work.

    Any help appreciated

    Regards

    Toni

  • You only need the line

        src_txt_quote_date.Value = Format(Date, "dd mmmm yyyy")

    not the other one with Now().

  • I have tried the following two lines together and I do get a value in the required box but it includes the time, I only want the date part to show

        src_txt_quote_date.Value = Format(Date, "dd mmmm yyyy")
        src_txt_quote_date.Value = Now()

    Thanks
