Office 365 Webmail - public folders

-
I've had a user come and ask how they open public folder calendars in the latest version of Outlook online. This ought to be simple (far too basic to ask on here!), but I just cannot work out how to do it - in the old version it was simply a case of right-click folders and 'add public folder to favourites'. In the new one, in the calendar section, right-clicking the 'calendars' heading or any of its subheadings, brings up a meu including 'Add public folder to favourites' but it's greyed out.
I am aware that at the moment it's possible to switch back to the old interface when using a business account, but this ability is already gone from the consumer ones so it's only a matter of time before it goes from the business ones too, and we need to be able to continue to use this function.
Is this an admin setting I need to change somewhere?
Thanks
David

Hi David,
Thanks for contacting us!
Based on my test, I could confirm that the add public folder to favorites option is really grayed out under the Mail -> Favorites tab and "Calendar -> Calendar tab" in the new Outlook online version.
As far as I know, there is no official announcement accordingly so far, I even cannot ensure if it is really an issue or just something to be built in the new versions. Therefore, we suggest you use the old Outlook online version as a workaround and keep an eye on this, and I will also initial a request through the inner channel to have a further confirmation.
Regards,
Manu Meng
