Power Query speed/ performance

Dear all,

As far as I know there are no systems available to measure the Power Query processing time for individual steps (within Power BI Desktop).

What are guidelines, tips and tricks to maximize Power Query speed (and minimize processing times)?

What are the best measuring systems for Power Query processing times?

(Currently I use a stopwatch, but this is not really professional.)

I allready disabled (almost) all Data Load Options.
