Active Directory Sync with Sharepoint 2013 RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    I have one  server which is out of Project Server<gs class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="884770c4-1507-42d4-ac76-0172bc048d68" id="72b054a7-b003-4e49-849d-504bab0024e1">,</gs> and that contains the Active directory with all organizational resource information.

    And the requirement is that I need to Sync that AD data with Microsoft project server AD up to date.

    After so much of R&D <gs class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="bb43add5-70ce-4d95-8ebd-4fa4352a5405" id="f3b570a0-facc-4830-bbf5-a9d9641a08f8">i</gs> got this link      http://www.harbar.net/archive/2012/07/23/sp13adi.aspx

    Kindly help me whether this works or not?

  • Hi Soumya,

    Yes, you need to create a sync connection and start profile sync to sync AD with SharePoint. Detailed steps are in the link you provided.

    If the user profile isn’t updated in SharePoint after that, you may need to run the timer job “User Profile Service Application -  User Profile to SharePoint Full Synchronization” in CA.
