    I would like a button on my edit for to set the end date to today() and close out the form.  How can I make this action as a button.

    Hi Chewbears,

    Did you mean that you want to add a "Check In" button in a calender item Edit Form page, which is used to update the End Time value to today then close form page?

    If yes, I think it is better and easy to use the End Time (date picker) and Ok button when you are on the Edit Form page.
