Outlook "share calendar" button inactive RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to share my calendar with a co-worker.

Following SOP - my "Share Calendar" button is inactive. I see it, but it isn't "live" to click on and use to share my calendar.

How do I "activate" my "share calendar" button?

  • It is likely not a true Microsoft Exchange calendar. Could it be a third-party calendar outside of the Exchange environment?

Could be that or the administrator has it locked to where you cannot share calendars.

  • Hi accmonson,

What's the type of the email account associated with your calendar?
Is this a shared calendar or your own calendar?

Generally, if you have an Office 365 or other Microsoft Exchange-based email account, you can give someone who is inside or outside your organization permissions to view your calendar by clicking the Share Calendar button.

As has been mentioned by Mitch, please check if your calendar is qualified to be shared and feel free to post back if you need further assistance on this.
