Windows 7 Home Edition - Updates not being installed RRS feed

  • Hi

    On my windows 7 Home Edition the following updated will not be downloaded and installed by Microsoft Update:

    KB2868116

    KB2742599

    KB2813430

    KB2892074

    KB3011780

    KB3056049

    I have just re-installed the windows and only used WIndows Update for getting all patches.

    Any suggestions to get pass this point and get all patches for the installation ?

    I have made the file - but it is a windows 7 installation in Danish language - so not sure it will help you help me .....

    It was a bit tedious having to look through the file, using a translator, but as far as I can tell, nothing jumps out at me that says, here's the problem.

    Since this is a relatively new install, the only thing I can think of, is that this is simply a bad install that needs repair. Please refer to the link below for further instructions.

    How to do a repair install to fix Windows 7.

    This will show you how to do a repair install (aka: in-place
    upgrade install) to fix your currently installed Windows 7 and preserve
    your user accounts, data, programs, and system drivers.

    If you have the error code 800B0100 when you use Windows update, please take a look at the following article.

    Please go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories, and run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
    Please download and run the System Update Readiness Tool.

    Please run the tool linked below, then try to run WU again.

    Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool.

    Thanks for the suggestions but that did not help ....

    I (still) get error code 800B0100 -Windows Update has found an unknown error

    All updates failed.....   :/

    Any suggestions ?

    RUN ONLY IMPORTANT UPDATES. OTHER UPDATES  SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED WHEN YOU ARE SURE, THAT THESE UPDATES SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM.

    The link you have added are for a language I do not understand (CZ) and I do not see any why to change the language at the site.

    Do you have a key word I can search for am English sited version ?

  • Please upload a copy of your system information file. Click "start" , type "msinfo32" , Click "file" at the top of the page, select "export" and give the file a name and click "save" .

    Navigate to where the file was saved to, and upload the generated text file to a public folder on your OneDrive account and post the link here.
