  • Question

  • Ok before anyone says:

    1. OPEN YOUR "CONTROL PANEL"...THEN OPEN "HARDWARE AND SOUND"
    2. LOOK FOR AND CLICK OPEN "DEVICE MANAGER"
    3. SCROLL DOWN TO '' SOUND,VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLER''
    4. RIGHT CLICK "SOUND VIDEO AND GAME OPTION"...THEN AN OPTION WILL COME UP SAYING..."SCAN FOR HARDWARE CHANGES"...CLICK IT AND HEY PRESTO...YOUR SOUNDS AND VIDEO AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING!

I can get all the way to step 2, but step 3 is where I have an issue, I don't have the "Sound, Video, and Game Option" listed in my "Device Manager" so I cannot proceed after step 2. My laptop sound was working upto a week ago, but suddenly doesnt work while using the speakers that came with the laptop, however it does work with my USB headset and I get the default windows beeps for errors. Is there something that I can do to fix the situation?

    Thank you,
