  • Hi,

Do you mean the system freezes at the logon screen when you logon the system? Have you did any changes in your system?

We suggest you boot into safe mode by pressing F8 at the beginning of boot time. After logon in safe mode,  please set clean boot mode in Msconfig.

If you can logon in clean mode, please determine which one can be the cause by using dichotomy in MSconfig. Checking on half of Non-Microsoft service and restart, determining which half of the services cause the issue and repeating to check half of the problematic half services.

If you cannot logon in safe mode, we consider the issue may caused by system files corrupted. Please boot into WinRE by inserting installation media,  then follow the steps to troubleshoot.

    1. Run SFC tool in Command Prompt in WinRE.

    2. If it doesn't work, please perform System Restore to let your PC back to the point which use normally.

Also, please send us your CBS.log so that we can help you better.

    Good luck with you.

    Best Regards

    Simon
