    hi! I noticed that there is an issue with my call forwarding lync. Whenever I do a call forwarding the external number caller id will be appended to our internal prefix. eg. internal extension is in this format 6110xxxx, when the external user call a number that has forwarding configured, the receiver of the forwarded number will have the caller id shown as 61101234 (if the caller is using eg. 88882134). How do I troubleshoot this issue? In ooutlook, I will receive the correct caller id (eg88882134), but my mobile (forwarded dest) I will receive 61101234.

    Any idea? Thanks.

    What is the phone number show when the external phone number call the internal number?

    Did this issue happen with other external phone number?

    It seems related with normalization rule. You can use Lycn Logging Tool to collect the trace file for troubleshooting

    hi! When the external number called the internal number. It shows the correct number.

    It happens to all external number calling in to an internal number that's being forwarded to an external number.
