Windows Modules Installer stopped working and was closed RRS feed

  • have just installed windows vista home edition on my laptop so i tried to i restaisntall the updates it dowloads all the updates, but it doesn't install them, then i got this message "Windows Modules Installer stopped working and was closed" i restarted the system i tried one more time and then i have this blue screen with this numbers 0X0000000A (0X206C6148, 0X00000002, 0X00000001, 0X8070BA2A) I have been having this problem since i bought it.

    As for this system freezing issue, we generally need to analyze the performance monitor logs and memory dump files to locate the root cause. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum because of the nature of forum support. A support call to our product service team is needed for the debugging service. I'd like to recommend that you contact Microsoft Customer Support Service (CSS) for assistance so that this problem can be resolved efficiently.
