Clustered Shared Volumes location... RRS feed

  • Question

  • We setup a Windows Server 2008 R2 Failover cluster using CSV (C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1) for Hyper-V machines. Someone said that our blade servers don't have enough room on drive C to accomoadate the Guest VMs which we intended to store on the CSV. I presume that  C:\ClusterStorage\Volume 1 is a "mount" point so VMs saved there will not actually be stored there and use space on drive C. (They will be stored on the LUNS associated with that mount point).  Is this correct? If so, how can it be verified?

    TIA,
