SharePoint and Porject File hangs on updating? RRS feed

    These days I facing different issue with Project File and SharePoint. When I open Project File from SharePoint site. It is hanging with below message box. I don't know how to resolve this.

    It stays below place and never closes. How to resolve this?

    Hi,

    For troubleshooting this issue, let's verify the followings:

    1. What size is the project file?
    2. Whether all project files have this issue.
    3. Whether other type files have this issue, like word or excel.

    Please create a small project file, and open it from a SharePoint site, compare the result.

    Please make sure your Project server is online, and you can access your Project server from your machine.

    In addition, if this issue only happened for project files, I suggest you create a new thread on Project forum, more experts will assist you with Project.

    I am not using any project server. It just sharepoint foundation. I have couple field causing this issue. If I delete them I am able load properly. But It is not showing which fields are causing this. I have manually check each and every item in the task field.

    As these fields cause this issue, please check each field manually.
