Alert description for the azure event id monitoring

Question
-
Hello Team,
I am working with very large azure applications (100 to 120 hosted services). I have enabled monitoring event id on the role instance. I have a problem with the Alert description, as the xpath of the event varies from the event to event and i am not able to get event description in the alert.
Please suggest me in this regard.
Thanks

Hi all,
This issue is specific to how we are generating custom events in your Role Instance(s). There is a need to define an event source so that it is populated into the event – which is required for us to successfully monitor and alert. The following article goes into detail on the issue. Basically we will need to define a EventMessageFile key for each custom event source for your application – one approach is to add this information to the Role via a startup task
