  • Hi,

Have you checked whether Outlook has been marked for indexing under Indexing Options? If Outlook has already been included for indexing, please also try to remove it and then add it back to see the result.

Are you using a POP3 account or are you trying to search in a PST file? Please make sure you have all available updates installed for your Office 2016 and then see whether this issue continues.

We may also try to restart the Windows Search service and then see the result.

    Regards,

    Steve Fan

  • Hi,

How is everything going? Is the issue fixed now? If the issue persists, I'd recommend you try below suggestion:

Do you have KB4021558 and KB4022722 installed? If so, please try temporarily uninstalling these KB updates and then rebuild your search indexing to see the result.

We are investigating this issue currently, we'd appreciate it if you could have a try with above suggestion and give us a feedback. If the issue persists, could you please also provide the detailed Windows and Outlook version numbers so that we can further look into this issue?

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

    Regards,

    Steve Fan

  • Hi,

I have the same issue - no quick search in Outlook (1706 8229.2045 click to run) and OneNote running on Windows 10 Insider 16215. Search is running, Office repair did not help.

    Regards,

    Johann

  • This update cannot be installed on Insider Build 16215

The Surface Laptop was upgraded from Windows 10S to 10 Pro and then two Insider updates were installed from fast ring. The problem existed in all versions.
