I had Windows 7 Pro and the CPU temperature on normal use was about 40ºC-45ºC, but then I installed Windows 8 Pro and now the CPU temperature is about 60ºC-65ºC, anyone has the same problem? any solution?, I'm using an Intel i7 2600k with an Asus p8z68-V
pro/gen3 motherboard. I don't understand why the cpu temperature increases because, apparently, windows 8 uses less resources; any help on solving this will be appreciated.
Hi, I have the same issue here with the same setup. I had temperature for about 16-18C with Win 7, with Win 8 I have temperature above 35C and thats just idle desktop. So now I uninstalled Win 8, trying to get in touch with Asus to see if they have any
answers. Asus also dont have properly drivers, like the
ASUS AI Suite II and so on. This sucks when I saved up money to actually BUY win 8. But I wont blame Microsoft for this, but only Asus to not have properly drivers out yet. But they tough have proper drivers and the hole package for the Z77 chipset and not
Z68........ Shame........
