ForeFront Client on 2008 Server Core RRS feed

  • Question

  • All,

I was able to install the ForeFront client on 2008 server core no problem.  My question is how do I manage the client?  I only want to use ForeFront for this one client and would rather not have to install a whole management system for one client.  What are my options?---tonyFSMO

  • Hello!
Hmmm - there really isn't an easy option - you obviously don't have the client UX on the Core machine, so that won't work.  The best option may just be to install the Collection and Management Roles on a server to author the policy - if you don't plan on changing it, you could remove the server roles after you got a policy you liked

    THanks
