"Blue screen" shutdown RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi - I believe this is a common problem, where a black screen with blue typing appears before the computer shuts down, advising to disable bios caching - however, I can't get to this destination.  I haven't installed any new programs or devices - the problem seemed to start with videos on fb, but now happens at any time.

    Thanks, if you can help!

  • A little vague but if you're asking about disk controller write cache you can enter the disk controller or mobo bios to change these settings. I'd check the manual for details.
