Project Server 2013 and MS Project Client for Mac RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Does anyone knows if there are any plans for having Project Server 2013 connect with the next release of Ms Project on Apple Mac machine?

    Thanks in advance

    1) I don't think they will release a Mac version of Project.  You'll have to run a Windows emulator to support the Project Pro client - or simply use the browser.

    2) Most of the browser based functionality should be available to the Mac - although I can't recall at the moment which functionality (if any) is limited on Safari.

  • Although it was not with a recent release or recently, my experience with the emulator was that I could not figure out how to get certain key short cuts to work.  If I recall,  it had to do with the use of control key; to select a sequence of task to perform an operation like linking... or something like that... I do recall that I was somewhat frustrated and limited.
