    Hi,

    When I deploy a virtual machine using a static IP address, the Virtual Machine is reachable only after a user first logon into using SCVMM console or Hyper-V console (the VM is not reachable by the SSP remote console).

    After examining the MasterActions.xml, I suppose the netsh script used to configure the IP adress are associated to the GUI RunOnce section of the VMM template instead of using custom unattend file.

    Am I right ? If yes, template deployment will still be not really usable without a DHCP server.

    In SSP2.0, To assign a static IP addresses, NETSH command is used.

    Lets say you have static network configured in SSP 2.0 & your template does not have any NIC. During create VM, if you selected static network then new VM will have NIC associated static IP addresses as defined in SSP2.0.  

    Are you facing any issue in assigning static IP addresses?
