No longer seeing the "padlock" icon for private appointments in Outlook 2016 on other users' calendar RRS feed

    Previously if a user had an appointment marked as private on their calendar, others would see a lock icon and the words "private appointment". Now it's just blank. Can someone shed some light on why this is now blank?

    We are on Exchange Online / Windows 10

    Hi Sylvia,

    By default, appointments marked private should show a lock icon and the words 'Private Appointment'.

    How many users are affected by this issue? Which permission do other users have on the shared calendar? 

    Can you see the same behavior if we check the calendar from within OWA?

    We may also try to reset the view of the shared calendar in case the private items were hidden by a filter. To do this, open the shared calendar, click View tab > Reset View.
