Issues publishing third party updates in SCCM 10032 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

I'm putting this here as well as on the SCCM forum because I believe this is a WSUS issue

Every time I upgrade SCCM I am able to publish and deploy third party updates. the process runs smoothly without any problems

When I see that some updates are superseded and I want to publish other updates I get error 0x80070194 in the PatchDownloader log file.

After doing everything I wrote in this link (WSUS Cleanup + SUSDB reindexing + resync all updates) I found out that when I publish the update, WSUS error 10032 appears. I can't find the log file that can tell me what is wrong in the log files I do see there are no errors.

This is driving me nuts! any help would be appreciated.

  • Since syncing third party categories in SCCM doesn't show in WSUS (at least on server 2012 r2 WSUS 4), I didn't know you need to mark the local publisher category checkbox in order for the downloaded updates in the UpdateSoftwarePackages to be published to the WSUS Content folder.
