Hi,
This is how the new Office works. You can choose the option of Create a local copy and merge your changes later
in File In Use dialog. This way, there will be two documents with separate sets of edits.
You can choose to merge your changes at a later time, or go to the
Review tab, click Compare. You'll see a dialog in which you can choose which original documents to combine.
