Ghost 15

Question

Hi,
what is the replacement of Ghost 15 for backing up Windows 7? For instance, i expect to back up win 7 as an image to another removable disk. How about the steps to restore everything to the original HDD one day for win 7, assuming that i am to set up another kind of OS like Red hat in the same HDD? Should i have one bootable USB drive for booting up the notebook? why i ask this is due to that, now the notebook does not come with a recovery CD.

Hi,
A system image is an exact copy of a drive. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. It also includes Windows and your system settings, programs, and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard disk or computer ever stops working.
You have three methods to restore a system image.

If you don't have recovery CD or installation CD from manufacturer, you can create a system repair disc instead.

Ghost 15 is not a Microsoft product.
You must go to http://us.norton.com/ghost/ for assistance with Ghost 15.
