  • Hi Rima_Rima,

    Please explain more about your environment. Do you use NLB for FIM Portal or is it one server only?

    If you are using NLB, do you have them installed as a common farm in SharePoint or each node is a stand-alone?

    If I would guess from your description you use NLB (or round robin DNS) and you don't have session stickness configured properly (to make sure that the session is always delivered by the same host).

  • Hello,

    you can modify this in the web.config file of the Portals IIS-Config:

    • go to the Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\virtualdirectories\80
    • backup the web.config file
    • Edit the web.config file
    • Locate XML tag <resourceManagementClient
    • Add or Update the following before the closing tag:  />
      1. timeoutInMilliseconds=”60000”
    • Do an IISReset

    The complete line should then look like this:

    <resourceManagementClient resourceManagementServiceBaseAddress="http://SERVERNAME:5725" timeoutInMilliseconds="60000" />
    Regards

    Peter
