Hide My Views for PAS Std Users RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a situation where power users in companies use PAS for publishing reports to non-power users. The non power users do not have ProClarity Web Pro, they only access std. The problem is that the way our business works, month to month cube production causes most reports to fail until some level of maintenance is performed. If these non-power users have saved reports to My Views the reports are disabled, advise to contact the system admionistrator and allow not means of repairing the broken report. To avoid the obvious oversight on ProClarities part here, it is easier to just not allow publishing to My Views but I have not been able to figure out a way baring hacking into the system and I'd like to avoid that.

Any thoughts on a way to disable My Views

  • Nevermind, lots of digging, commented out lines in the ASP code that add the links and icons related to my views.
