RDP session configuration host - Server 2012

Question
-
I have the RD Session Host role installed on a 2012 Server but it is not visible via Administrative Tools->Remote Desktop Services.
I have read a lot about this being the "new" situation in Server 2012. My need is to have remote desktop connections start programs as specified in the RDP client program tab. This application startup applies to a select group of users - those that have that specification in their "program" tab. Is it possible to add the "snap-in" so it appears under the Remote Desktop Services "container"? All that is currently there is the Remote Desktop Licensing Manager. This was a slam dunk under 2008 R2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amy
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. After reading the articles you identified and then some google exposed support cases I was able to "digest" the collections sequence and the new RDP paradigm in general. Standard Microsoft progression - shoot mosquitoes with bazookas!

Hi,
There is no built-in method that I am aware of to add the Remote Desktop Session Host Configuration snap-in onto Windows Server 2012/R2.
Regarding initial program, I suggest you publish RemoteApp programs after set up RDS deployment, user permissions to view each published programs is also easy to configure:
