Training - Events - Seminars (UK)

  • Does anyone know of any such training or events taking place this year on MIIS? I have found some details on an event last year but nothing this year (not in the UK anyway). Thanks.

  • Matt,
    this might get you started...

-> in the last section : check a suitable period of time and region..., quite some training available in UK

Looking for events on internet like online webcasts or on demand webcasts, this is an interesting link: http://www.microsoft.com/events/default.mspx

    Microsoft MVP's webinar - February 15th, 12:00 PM EST / 9:00 AM PST / 5 PM GMT. (> check OCG...)
Microsoft Architect Insight Conference - March 5th to 6th, Newport, UK.

Check your local Microsoft correspondant, for local events...

And last but not least, cross the Channel: http://www.miis.be/home.php?events2007 ;)

    Kind regards

  • I am also looking for some UK training/events in MIIS2003 - it looks like Oxford Computing are the main IDM players, and they offer two MIIS courses. I'm not sure which course I should attend as I have a good understanding of MIIS 2003, but need to learn/understand the VS integration and coding techniques in .NET framework.

Can anyone recommend either of the two MIIS2003 courses offered by Oxford Computing? Also, with MIIS 2003 being retired in May and ILM 2007 taking over, will I need to take additional training? Cheers...

  • My 2Cents.

I don't know if other members of the forum share this opinion, but if you got some budget left, it's usefull to get the basic course MOC 2731.

In fact there are some programming techniques discussed in the course and useful information on the internals of the MIIS engine...

The information on ILM is a couple days old, check the "MS Idenity Lifecycle Manager 2007"  started by Jef Kazimer, the replies contain useful links.

    Best regards,
