  • Hi Juan Carlos,

I think this warning is related with the error that occurs in my application when I access the search service: "The search request is unable to connect to the search service.", and don't let me to search.

    Thanks a lot.

The administrator has created a new search service with a new empty database, because the existing search service didn't respond.

  • Mmm,

I'm not sure if this error is related to a problem with SharePoint Search...have you checked what information is written in SharePoint logs files when you try to search? Which SharePoint version are you using?

    Regards

  • No information is written in SharePoint logs files when I try to search, only shows the information "The search request is unable ..." as result of the search in the web page. We are using Sharepoint 2010

    Thanks a lot Juan Carlos
