Problemas con algunas actualizaciones de WSUS error 0x80244019 RRS feed

    Buenos dias...

    Tengo un servidor WSUS instalado desde hace 6 meses que atiende a unos 60 equipos con win XP, desde hace 2 meses al menos se han venido presentando fallas en los equipos que no actualizan debidamente las actualizaciones que se envian desde el servidor, los equipos tienen configurada la GPO localmente, algunos actualizan una parte de las actualizaciones, otros no actualizan nada, otros dan error y en otros casos las actualizaciones aparecen sin estado.

    Quisiera saber cual es la configuracion optima que debe tener un equipo cliente para descargar e instalar las actualizaciones sin problemas, si los usuarios del dominio deben ser administradores locales, si alguna politica de dominio puede afectar la descarga de los updates, etc, etc.

    aqui los pongo en extracto del windowsupdate.log de una maquina X, aparce repetido el error 0x80244019, ya he realizado todos los ajustes y revisiones que aparecen en los foros y nada, he tenido que ir maquina a maquina a actualizar el windows ya que las politicas de seguridad son bastante estrictas en la compañia.

    apreciaria cualquier ayuda en este caso. otra cosa la mayoria de las actualizaciones que no se instalan completamente son "Actualizaciones de windows XP" ,  tanto las criticas como las de seguridad.

    Hola Roger,

    Abrí el IIS Manager (inetmgr) en el servidor WSUS, y andá a la parte de propiedades del server. En el cuadro de propiedades, andá a MIME types y fijate si en la lista de MIME types registrados aparece la extensión .psf. Si no está, agregala (extensión: .psf; MIME type: application/octet-stream).

    Una vez hecho esto, reiniciá el servidor y probá si el error en los clientes sigue siendo el mismo.

    Epala pablitoms, creo que esta solucion si me ha ayudo bastante, de 45 maquinas que habia con errores, hoy cuatro dias despues solo me quedan 8, algunas que estan apagadas y usuarios de vacaciones.

    Hola Pablitoms.
    como revise que habias podido ayudar a una persona con su servidor wsus, yo tengo el mismo  tipo de error en los registros de algunas actualizaciones de wsus error 0x80244019. pense que podia repararse de la misma forma la cual diste solucion a una persona, pero me di cuenta que reclama otra cosa en el log del servidor wsus, adjuntare el el log si me puedes ayudar ya que tengo 50 amquinas con el mismo error de descarga.

    adjunto  las ultimas lineas del log ya que es muy extenso el log. espero no moloestar, yo creo q esto tb ayudara a algunas otras personas que tengan el mismo problema en sus maquinas.

    como revise que habias podido ayudar a una persona con su servidor wsus, yo tengo el mismo  tipo de error en los registros de algunas actualizaciones de wsus error 0x80244019. pense que podia repararse de la misma forma la cual diste solucion a una persona, pero me di cuenta que reclama otra cosa en el log del servidor wsus, adjuntare el el log si me puedes ayudar ya que tengo 50 amquinas con el mismo error de descarga.

    Hola Cristian,

    Antes que nada, ejecutá por las dudas la herramienta de diagnóstico del cliente y comentanos los resultados: http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/7/6/976d1084-d2fd-45a1-8c27-a467c768d8ef/WSUS%20Client%20Diagnostic%20Tool.EXE

    Probá también ingresar manualmente por Internet Explorer alguna de las URLs de los archivos que arrojan error en el log. (por ejemplo: http://WSUSSERVER/Content/E4/ED646E811A25C4BA004E937E6CC43B110019DFE4.exe ), y fijate si te permite descargar el archivo en cuestión.

    Comentanos luego cómo te fue.

    primero que nada debo agradecer tu respuesta y apoyo que me esta prestando.
    La herramienta que me enviaste ya la habia usado y en el servidor.

    ahora lo que nunca he probado es poner el archivo en la url.

    en dos dìas màs debo ir a revizar ese servidor y podria poner pantallasos de lo que pueda ocurrir.

    Ahora en el caso que se pudiera bajar el archivo de la url o no bajar de la url.

    Que podria hacer yo para que todo marche bien.

    de todos modos pondre todo tipo de detalles.

    Lo que sucede es que el error 0x80244019 que aparece reiteradamente en el log corresponde a un error del tipo 404. Este error indica que se está pudiendo llegar al servidor, pero que no se encuentra el archivo en cuestión. Esto puede indicar que el archivo de actualización no existe (cosa que es poco probable), o puede que quizá haya algún tipo de filtro bloqueándolo. Si esto es así, al intentar acceder al archivo por medio del browser deberías obtener el mismo tipo de error... es sólo a modo de prueba.

    Otro cosa a tener en cuenta... por casualidad el servidor IIS tiene instalada la herramienta URLScan? (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/security/cc242650.aspx )

    Hola pablitoms, bueno hoy revise todo.

    primero puse la herramienta de diasgnostico, no arrojo errores (las imagenes no se omo ir subiendolas, pero si tienes un mail podria enviartelas).

    segundo copie en el browser la ruta de un archivo y no lo encontro, probe con otra ruta y tampoco.
    me fui a la carpeta donde se alojan las actualizaciones y archivo si existe, desde el IIS tambien estaba el archivo.

    finalmente busque si estaba inatalada la aplicaciòn URLscan y no estaba instalada me fui ala ruta c:\winnt\system32\inetsvr, y no encontre el programa urlscan.ini solo habia un archivo llamado urlauth.dll pero no corresponde. y tampoc encontre aplicacion en otra ruta.

    observando el administrador de aplicacione s me di cuneta quye hay un programa llamado scanrouterdriverv2 que daba un error Event_ID: 6.. fue lo unico anormal que encontre.

    bueno y lo unico que hoy cambio en el Wsus fueroin que habian 5 actualizaciones requeridas y estaban con errores. 4 son actualizaciones del sistema y otra actualizacion de wsus 3.0.

    y la version de wsus que esta funcionando es la 2.0

    bueno pablims esa es toda la informacion que pude rescatar para le problema y no encunetro solucion a ellos.

    Tratá de ingresar desde alguno de los equipos a esta URL con Internet Explorer: http://WSUSSERVER/selfupdate/iuident.cab , y fijate si te da la opción de descargar el archivo, o qué tipo de error arroja en caso contrario.

    Holaaa,bueno tuve que esperar unos dìas para hacer las pruebas, bueno puse el link http://WSUSSERVER/selfupdate/iuident.cab y indico que no encontraba la pagina cambie wsusserver por el nombre de mi servidor y si dejo bajar el archivo .caby lo guarde en el escritorio.

    aùn esta el mismo problema y he revizado manuales y las configuraciones son las mismas y hoy no hice modificaciònes esperando que me indicara que poder hacer.

    Teniendo en cuenta que la descarga del .cab se realizó sin problemas y que los errores en el log aparecen todos al procesar las descargas de los archivos .exe, podríamos ver lo mismo que le comenté a Roger al principio de este hilo, pero en tu caso con la extensión .exe:

    Abrí el IIS Manager (inetmgr) en el servidor WSUS, y andá a la parte de propiedades del server. En el cuadro de propiedades, andá a MIME types y fijate si en la lista de MIME types registrados aparece la extensión .exe. Debería estar por default, pero habría que chequearlo para sacarnos la duda.

    Hola Chequiare porque me meti a los mimetypes, pero son tantas extenciones, pero lo reviso y te cuento. En caso que esté la extensiòn .exe? que puedo hacer?
