Hi,
Please check the currently account has enough permission to perform backup task and handle all the backup files. You'd better a Administrator account or a member of Administrator group.
And please check if there is any error message in Event Viewer.
Is this files in a local disk or in NAS? if in a NAS, please make sure the current account can access the files in NAS.
Please run the below command to grant the permissions and try again.
- Takeown /f %windir%\winsxs\temp\PendingRenames /a icacls %windir%\winsxs\temp\PendingRenames /grant "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(RX)"
- icacls %windir%\winsxs\temp\PendingRenames /grant "NT Service\trustedinstaller:(F)"
- icacls %windir%\winsxs\temp\PendingRenames /grant BUILTIN\Users:(RX)
- Takeown /f %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\* /a icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(RX)"
- icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant "NT Service\trustedinstaller:(F)"
- icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant BUILTIN\Users:(RX)
Hope this can help.
Best Regards,
Daniel

Please make sure this account can access and handle all files in NAS.
From the error message, it seems that you don't have enough permission to handle these files.

Daniel

Hello,
Aside from what has been mentioned, make sure the files/folders you are trying to back up have not been stripped of SYSTEM permissions.
