  • We are planning to update our Exchange 2013 environment .

    Is it possible to rollback a cumulative update for Exchange 2013?

    For example: Rollback from Exchange Server 2013 CU12 to CU6

    Is there a Microsoft best practices for this?

    There is no rollback of CUs. If you need to remove it, you would need to uninstall Exchange completely.

    Removal information

    After you install this cumulative update package, you can't uninstall the package to revert to an earlier version of Exchange Server 2013. If you uninstall this cumulative update package, Exchange Server 2013 is removed from the server.

  • Will you give warranty that Cumulative update for exchange 2013 don't cause any issue ?

    In exchange 2010 , it was good that if any update rollup cause issues, simply we remove that update rollup from control panel.   Why not in Exchange 2013 ?

  • You are SO right.

    I have now a shitload of errors, which I have (right now) no solution for.

    Exchange is down.

    Updating from CU2 to CU12.

    It will be an allnight task. :(
