    Backup job does not start until 23:00 trying to identify why this would happen 35 minutes before backup is due to start

  • Fault was down to a clustered disk that Backup exec was backing up to becoming unavailable at the time of the backup job, enable the cluster destination and alls well now

    Found the following on a forum:

    It may have to do with IPV6. BE uses IPV4 hash out the ::1 reference on the Exchange server and place in 127.0.0.1 references for the system name & system FQDN. Seems there is an issue with Server 2008 when RPC over HTTPS is running it prefers to use different ports on IPV6.
