Substitution Variable choices when formatting a Notification message RRS feed

    In Operations Console | Administration | Notifications | Channels | Format - there is what appears to be fixed choices of variables I can use within a notification message.  Are these only popular choices and there are more avaible?  One option I need is $Data/Context/DataItem/ManagedEntityDisplayName$, which is the monitored device FQND.  I need just the device name w/o the domain portion to keep my message short.  How do I accomplish this?  Thanks!

    There is unfortunately no reliable property of all alerts that will contain the NetBIOS name of the agent computer that created the alert.

    The Source or Path will almost always contain the FQDN.

    If you use an R2 connector - they provide this functionality to send to another system, as does the powershell Get-Alert.
