I live in Japan and have recently bought a Japanese laptop complete with Vista basic and Office 2007 (Japanese versions ofcourse).
I can get around windows and do pretty much anything I need to, but the problem is I need to use Office at work. I can do the basic things but I can`t figure out all the Japanese menus to do some of the more complex things, especially on Excel (which I use quite a lot).
I want to know if I can change the language settings to English for Microsoft Office. I need to see the menus in English. I wondered if I can download an English patch or something?
I have searched and searched on the internet for a solution but I can`t find one. Can anyone help me? What do you suggest I should do?
I have the same problem. I bought the laptop in Thailand and have tried changing the office language setting in MS Office and the regional language setting in control panel and nothing works.
Same problem here. It's been more than 11 years since this problem was posted, and MS has not yet bothered to answer. But who is surprised anymore? Par for the course. They got our money when we paid for the software. So who cares, right?
