  Hi,
  
  I want to confirm with you if such update error happens on specific computer system, or most of  them? 
  
  What is the OS version which failed to install the update? And what is the KB number of failed update? 
  
  If possible, please log on the system and try below steps:
  1. Open CMD with admin permission.
  2. In the cmd window, type the following commands and hit Enter after each one:
  net stop wuauserv
  net stop bits
  rename %windir%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
  net start wuauserv
  net start bits
  
  Then, try to check and install update again to check the result.
