Test-MailFlow cmdlet work incorrectly after exchange 2010 upgrade to SP2

  • When i use cmdlet "Test-Mailflow -TargetEmailAddress <external@smtp.address>", i receive message on <external@smtp.address>, but cmdlet issue following error:

    RunspaceId         : 9ef4d73a-70a0-4619-84bf-1594d36741b1

    TestMailflowResult : *FAILURE*

    MessageLatencyTime : 00:00:00

    IsRemoteTest       : True

    Identity           :

    IsValid            : True

On exchange servers with sp1 test-mailflow work fine.

    Is it bug of SP2?

  • Hi,

Can this user send/receive email message?

Is there any error message recorded in the application log?

  • Hi Fiona,

Test-MailFlow cmdlet sends message on behalf of system mailbox. And i receive that message in external mailbox, but while execution test-mailflow reports *FAILURE* in powershell.

On servers with SP1 all works fine.
