  • Question

  • Hi,

We have below error event during the night.
I can't find the cause what is triggering this.
The error is not only for the package mentioned in the event but for all packages on that server. (SBC)

All our SBC servers running the Windows 2016 image have this issue.
Our SBC servers running the 2012 R2 image do not have the issue.
Both images are similar except for the OS version.

The events are always triggered around the same time.
In our case between 10PM and 11PM.
I found no scheduled tasks which might cause this.
And the internet did not help either...

    Thanks for your input!

    Stefaan

  • According To Microsoft:
The failure is probably due to insufficient memory or a problem accessing the storage.

    Resolution:
Close other programs that are running. Use the Task Manager to check programs and processes that are using large amounts of system resources. For information about managing memory resources, see Windows Help. Verify that Active Directory is working.

  • I meant the contentstore for your *.appv files. But I missed two lines you're saying only 2016 servers are effected and 2012 servers are fine. I suppose you use the same app-v backend, so you can rule out my question :).

About Akshays reply, that could be the case. Server 2016 requires more base resources that 2012. Is maybe a virus systemscan scheduled at that time?

  • If I see this errors in our environment, I do not have access to the source package through network disconnect, or ACL rights.

Is your package source available at that time? Maybe you've got maintenance and those servers are rebooted at that time?

  • Hi Roy,

    Which servers do you mean?

    The AppV Store servers?
The AppV Store servers are not only rebooted during Windows patching and they are set up redundantly.
And they are not rebooted at the same time.

The AppV backend servers are only rebooted during Windows patching.

As far as I can see or know there are no network interrupts.
Even if there would be network interrupts, I would not be the only one seeing issues.  :-)

    Thanks,

    Stefaan
